Schedule/description of work

The Banner / Student Records System will undergo essential updates to provide new and improved functionality, that will include changes required for the delivery of the next HESA Student return. The changes that you will notice on AppNav are: • The search box has been amended and now includes an option for Direct Navigation; Direct Navigation is the replacement for the Banner 8 Go To box. • The addition of a Favourite Pages section; this allows you to create a favourites list. • A new Personal Preferences section; here you can manage additional options in AppNav, such as having a Sign Out confirmation page, Preferred initial page, Search or Direct Navigation preference, and how you want to sort returned search lists. The update will take place between 6am – 9am on Tuesday 23rd June 2020. During this time user access will be restricted. We do expect the system to be back by 9am, but if problems are encountered then it may be later.
