Intermittent issues with eduroam network

Investigating — Most mobile device manufacturers have introduced a new security feature which hides and randomises the way mobile devices identify themselves to wireless networks. This activity is automatically blocked by our network hardware, meaning that your eduroam connection can drop while roaming on campus.  This is an issue faced by many institutions using eduroam, and we are working to find a permanent solution. Our wireless page ( will be updated as new information becomes available. If you are having persistent problems connecting to Wi-Fi on campus, please report them to the IT Service Desk – this will help provide us with critical diagnostic data.
